An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) to take on a contract assignment during the night shift in Bethel, Alaska. The role entails crucial responsibilities pertaining to the effective management and preparation of operating rooms while assuring safety and compliance in surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and arrange operating rooms efficiently for surgical procedures.
- Ensure surgical counts are accurate by verifying instruments and supplies.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and sterile environment in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to their needs during operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska.
- Experience in operating room nursing preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
