Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Structural Engineering Technician to join our team at Systems Inc. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This crucial role requires a professional with a minimum of five years of expertise in Structural Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Marine Technology, or a related technical discipline. The position is primarily onsite, necessitating hands-on involvement and collaboration within the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems and components.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to generate detailed structural plans and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop project proposals and confirm structural designs.
- Participate in maintaining project documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in structural engineering or related technical areas.
- Proficient in engineering design software relevant to structural analysis.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively in a team setting.
