Job Summary
Swedish Medical Center, affiliated with the respected HealthONE network, is in search of a committed Registered Nurse (RN) to become a vital member of our Operating Room team in Lone Tree, Colorado. This role presents the chance to deliver exceptional patient care within a dynamic surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Operating Room.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
- Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery processes.
- Stay informed about the latest surgical techniques and nursing practices to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license.
- Previous experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
