Job Summary
The position of Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is currently available, offering a competitive pay rate of $1,514 weekly. This role is based in Portland, Oregon, and requires an onsite presence. Candidates will be part of a 13-week contract with shifts comprising evenings on a schedule of four 10-hour days.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure adherence to quality control and assurance protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
- Document and communicate test results to the appropriate medical staff.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations within the laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as required.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns.
