Job Summary
The AHMG Medical Oncology division is actively seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our outpatient Cancer Institute at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a faith-based, non-profit health system, focusing on providing comprehensive cancer care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care within the outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for oncology patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding cancer treatment options.
- Participate in program development and improvement initiatives within the Cancer Institute.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Experience in medical oncology or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
