Job Summary
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become a part of our Surgical Services team in Idaho. This position requires you to be onsite and work from Monday to Friday, with limited on-call responsibilities for Operating Room staff. You will be expected to support surgical procedures and ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures as a Surgical First Assist.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient assessments.
- Maintain certification and ensure compliance with medical staff credentialing standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding surgical interventions.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Eligibility for medical staff credentialing is required.
- Prior experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Ability to provide quality care under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
