Job Summary
The Senior Systems Engineer position based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, requires an onsite presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This role focuses on systems engineering related to Servers, Cloud, and Data. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and engineering teams to enhance operational efficiency and support various tasks related to system operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with SRE, DevOps, and engineering teams to define and optimize operational processes.
- Perform system design, deployment, and management of High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
- Handle daily operational tasks and support various system functionalities in a cloud and server environment.
- Engage in resolving issues and improving system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the design and operation of High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and server management.
- Strong collaborative skills necessary for working with diverse engineering teams.
