Job Summary
The role of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant involves providing high-quality care under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director of Emergency Services, as well as collaborating with the Director of Emergency Services. The position is dedicated to supporting emergency medical services and ensuring patient needs are met effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical care to patients in the emergency department.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Manage treatment strategies for various medical conditions and emergencies.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within the state.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in emergency or acute care settings is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
