Job Summary
Aegis is looking for dedicated Maintenance Technicians to become part of our client’s team in Montgomery, Illinois. This role will operate on the second shift from 2 PM to 10 PM. Ideal candidates will have a background in maintenance, with a preference for those experienced in the food manufacturing sector or related high-speed environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and machinery.
- Work efficiently in a high-speed production setting, focusing on food manufacturing.
- Address mechanical and electrical repairs as needed, contributing to overall downtime reduction.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Food manufacturing experience is highly valued.
- Certifications or familiarity with operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
