Job Summary
The Systems Engineer II collaborates closely with the Design team to create innovative solutions and systems that align with AeroVironment’s business objectives. This position necessitates a strong understanding of engineering principles as they relate to aircraft systems, as well as familiarity with relevant programming tools.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the Design team to deliver effective system designs.
- Ensure that engineering solutions meet the specifications and frameworks required by the company.
- Utilize programming skills to enhance system functionality and performance.
- Contribute to improving existing systems by applying critical technical insights.
Qualifications
- Experience in systems engineering, particularly in the context of aerospace technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages, with a preference for Python or familiarity with the Robot Operating System (ROS).
- A background in working with aircraft systems is highly desirable.
- Must meet the criteria to be classified as a “U.S. person” as per federal regulations.
