Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Los Angeles, California. This position is available on a per diem basis, and the OR Nurse will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons during surgical procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons in the operating room by preparing instruments and equipment.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Adhere to established protocols and standards to provide optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage any immediate post-operative needs.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure effective communication and patient management.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in a surgical setting, ideally within an ASC environment.
- Strong understanding of OR protocols and patient care procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
