Job Summary
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity of clinical trials. This position is responsible for monitoring clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the research process. The CRA will serve as a link between the sponsor and the trial sites, contributing to the successful execution of clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monitoring visits to assess the progress of clinical trials.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
- Review and verify the accuracy of clinical trial data collected at the sites.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of adverse events and trial findings.
- Maintain effective communication with study sites, sponsors, and team members.
- Provide training and support to site staff on study protocols and procedures.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on study progress and issues.
Qualifications
- A degree in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Experience in clinical monitoring or related role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GCP and regulatory guidelines pertaining to clinical research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture tools.
