Job Summary
The role of a RN, Registered Nurse in General Surgery for the Operating Room involves providing critical nursing care in a surgical environment. This position is located in Bayside, Texas, and offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. The RN will work onsite and have the opportunity to choose from multiple shifts.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients for side effects and the effectiveness of prescribed therapies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation throughout the surgical process.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and recovery.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- Experience in surgical nursing preferred but not required.
