Responsibilities
- Conduct sequencing of waste samples to identify microorganisms.
- Analyze foodborne pathogens to assess risks and implications for public health.
- Investigate organisms that are responsible for infections acquired in healthcare facilities.
- Collaborate with other team members on microbiological research projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in laboratory practices.
- Assist in developing protocols and methodologies for microbiological testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in microbiological techniques and pathogen identification.
