Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in General Surgery is a key member of the surgical team in Sharon, Connecticut. This role involves working closely with a dedicated group of caregivers and physicians, leveraging advanced technology to deliver exceptional patient care in a surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and recuperation.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Operating Room (OR) nursing is required.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
