Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to become a part of Team Yuma as a Chemist within the City of Yuma Utilities Department, specifically focused on Wastewater. This position requires a strong background in the related field of analytical laboratory work.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing and monitoring of wastewater samples.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Document and analyze results accurately.
- Collaborate with utility department teams to improve wastewater treatment processes.
Qualifications
- A degree in chemistry or a related field is preferred.
- At least four years of experience in water/wastewater analytical laboratory work.
- Alternatively, a combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
