Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who are interested in working exclusively on weekends. This role is based in Alamo Heights and focuses on providing comprehensive patient care in a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients during weekend shifts.
- Assess and monitor patients’ health status, documenting observations accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-treatment care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in acute care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs and respond appropriately.
