Job Summary
The Equipment Maintenance Technician will play a vital role within our Kinston, North Carolina facility, where we focus on the production of essential aircraft components. This position demands the technician to engage in the upkeep and management of maintenance tasks essential for operational efficiency and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking and reporting maintenance activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings and maintenance reports to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in maintenance practices.
- Assist in training and guiding junior team members on maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of additional technical training is preferred.
- Experience in maintenance and repair within an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant equipment and maintenance management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
