Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR General Surgery department in Naugatuck, Connecticut, will be part of an expert team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Implement the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other caregivers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
- Monitor patients’ conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and post-operative recovery.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
- Strong knowledge and application of nursing best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
