Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in General Surgery will work full-time in Rupert, Idaho. This on-site position involves comprehensive patient care, including medical history documentation, conducting necessary diagnostic tests such as lab work and EKGs, and collaborating closely with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Document and assess patients’ medical histories.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory tests, x-rays, and EKGs.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist in surgical operations as the first surgical assistant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related discipline.
- Fully licensed and registered as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
