Job Summary
The Medical Director plays a vital role in offering both clinical and operational guidance for psychiatric urgent care services and admissions at two different campuses. This position is centered around ensuring exceptional patient triage and the delivery of evidence-based care while also providing mentorship to a diverse team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the admissions process and psychiatric urgent care services across two campuses.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality, evidence-based clinical care.
- Facilitate effective patient triage to meet healthcare needs.
- Provide mentorship and support to interdisciplinary staff members.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years’ experience in an acute psychiatric setting.
- Active Maryland medical license is required.
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
- Completion of a residency training program in psychiatry.
