Job Summary
The position of Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant in Templeton, OR, offers an opportunity to serve in a vital role within a healthcare setting. The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) will work onsite to provide advanced nursing support in surgical procedures, ensuring high standards of care are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during various surgical procedures as an RN First Assistant.
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions.
- Collaborate closely with other medical staff to implement effective patient care strategies.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient education.
- Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare regulations during procedures.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) is required.
- Demonstrated experience in a surgical environment preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts of 5 days, each lasting 8 hours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
