Job Summary
The position available is for a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) located in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional respiratory care for patients, focusing on those in critical and NICU settings.
- Monitor and manage ventilation support for patients, ensuring optimal respiratory function.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement effective care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to respiratory treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care processes and necessary interventions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care and NICU environments.
- Valid respiratory therapy license in the state of Oregon.
- Strong capability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:15.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with neonates and infants effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in high-pressure situations.
