Job Summary
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) plays a vital role in overseeing and facilitating clinical trials. This position is responsible for ensuring that research protocols are adhered to while maintaining the integrity of data collected during studies. The CRA collaborates closely with investigators, site staff, and regulatory bodies and serves as a key liaison to ensure compliance with all relevant ethical and legal standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess the ongoing progress of the trial and provide guidance where necessary.
- Collect and review data to ensure accuracy and timely reporting of findings.
- Be involved in site selection, initiation, and close-out activities.
- Facilitate training and support for site personnel on the trial procedures and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with study teams, including updates and potential issues that arise during the trials.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences or nursing.
- Previous experience in clinical research or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice and other regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
