Community Legal Services (CLS) is in search of a dedicated and full-time paralegal to join our Economic Justice Team located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves supporting our mission by assisting clients with issues related to homeownership and student loans, among other economic justice concerns.
Responsibilities
- Assist client consultations regarding legal rights and protections.
- Support the Economic Justice Team in managing cases related to homeownership.
- Provide guidance to student loan borrowers facing financial challenges.
- Collaborate with community-based organizations to disseminate critical information.
- Maintain accurate documentation and files for various cases.
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in economic justice issues.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and clients.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and preparing case documentation.
