Job Summary
The role of a Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner involves providing comprehensive care in a surgical environment. This position is based in Staten Island, New York, and requires an onsite work arrangement. The successful candidate will engage in the medical management of vascular surgery patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage orders for medications, lab work, and diagnostic tests.
- Communicate effectively with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in educational opportunities and training as part of an accredited Physician Assistant Program (ARC-PA) or fulfill qualifications for a Nurse Practitioner.
Qualifications
- Certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Eligibility to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
