Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing operations across all work areas in Saginaw, Michigan, to ensure optimal plant efficiency. This role supports the operational goals of the plant, focusing on maximizing machine uptime and minimizing changeover times. The position requires a commitment to overseeing production processes effectively and making strategic adjustments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all operational areas within the plant.
- Enhance plant efficiencies by implementing best practices.
- Monitor scrap levels and develop strategies for reduction.
- Increase machine uptime through effective supervision and maintenance.
- Manage production schedules, including shift arrangements of 7pm-7am or 9pm-7am.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among team members on the floor.
