Job Summary
The Accountant III plays a vital role in the financial department by managing accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and overseeing the processing of financial transactions. This position is pivotal for maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial data in order to prepare comprehensive reports.
- Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Supervise and support junior accounting staff in daily tasks.
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinate audits and facilitate the necessary documentation and responses.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
