Job Summary
The Asphalt Plant Operator 3A is primarily responsible for managing the operation of the asphalt plant in Kapolei, Hawaii. This role is crucial for ensuring the batching of materials in accordance with predefined mix designs and optimizing production to meet project deadlines and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Input mix design formulas into the computer system to facilitate accurate batching of materials.
- Oversee the operation of the plant, ensuring efficient batching of materials in various tonnages.
- Coordinate with production schedules, job sites, and truck schedules to optimize plant output.
- Adjust operations as needed to accommodate different mix designs for various projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating asphalt plants or similar equipment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mix design formulations and batching processes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to production schedules.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
