Job description
The Medical Director will oversee the assessment and treatment of patients dealing with opioid use disorder in an outpatient environment, ensuring the proper medication is prescribed. This role involves working closely with clinic personnel to deliver comprehensive care and fulfilling all required medical documentation. Applicants are required to possess an active MD or DO license and DEA registration in the applicable state, as well as board certification in a related specialty. Furthermore, candidates should have completed 12 hours of accredited training in narcotic-addiction treatment within the year prior to hiring.
