Job Summary
The position of Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role is designed for skilled Registered Nurses who are also trained as First Assistants to provide essential support in surgical procedures while traveling to various healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
- Prepare operating rooms for procedures and maintain surgical equipment.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and conditions pre-operatively and post-operatively.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices in a clinical setting.
- Document patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant.
- Previous experience in a surgical or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shift schedules and work environments.
