Job Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work under the overarching guidance of the Medical Director, Supervising Physician, and/or Director of Clinic Operations. This role involves patient management and care for various health concerns, including injuries and illnesses, while also performing necessary laboratory tests and making referrals to physicians as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care for families.
- Administer selected laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinic directors to ensure quality care.
- Facilitate referrals to specialists when needed to enhance patient health outcomes.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans effectively.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active state licensure to practice in California.
- Strong clinical skills in family healthcare.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
