Job Summary
The institution seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the High-Value Intensive Care Unit (HVICU) at PPMC. This full-time position is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is conducted onsite. The successful candidate will engage in collaborative efforts with intensivist and surgical groups, ensuring the provision of top-tier medical care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various medical teams to deliver high-quality patient care in the intensive care unit.
- Engage with surgical groups and intensivists to facilitate a comprehensive approach to patient management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Master’s Degree in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or hold a Bachelor, Master’s, or Doctorate degree as a Physician Assistant.
- Relevant certification and licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work alongside diverse medical professionals.
