The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional perioperative care to patients in Kansas City, Missouri. This position requires the nurse to work onsite in a permanent, full-time capacity, focusing on both preoperative and postoperative patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Administer IV therapy and manage preoperative medications effectively.
- Ensure accurate surgical site verification is conducted to enhance patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate successful operations and patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery progress in the operating room setting.
Qualifications
