Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This part-time position entails working 12-hour shifts during the daytime, ensuring a supportive and efficient environment for both patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to patients in the cardiac catheterization lab setting.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on procedures and care plans.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a cardiac care setting or related field preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
