Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner to join our physician-owned practice located in Palm Springs, California. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care through a compassionate approach.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients’ health status and needs during consultations.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging to aid in accurate diagnoses.
- Communicate effectively with patients about their health, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Prescribe medications as needed and educate patients on their use and side effects.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner license.
- Clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a primary care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
