Job Summary
The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient care within the surgical environment. This role requires the nurse to assist the operating team in maintaining a sterile environment and managing fluids and medications necessary for surgical procedures. The OR Registered Nurse also plays a key role in interacting with visitors, vendors, families, and physicians to ensure coordinated care and support during surgical operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care within the operating room.
- Assist the surgical team in maintaining sterile conditions.
- Prepare and manage sterile fluids and medications as required.
- Provide support and information to visitors, vendors, families, and physicians.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Experience in an operating room setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to operate and assist with various surgical equipment.
