Job Summary
The Accounting Operations Manager is responsible for leading the month-end closing activities, supervising the accounting personnel, and guaranteeing precise financial reporting. This role entails maintaining robust internal controls, assisting in SEC filings, and serving as a point of contact for both internal and external auditors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion.
- Manage the accounting team to promote effective financial reporting.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls for financial operations.
- Support the preparation and submission of SEC filings.
- Act as a liaison for auditors to facilitate smooth audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of applicable accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary.
- A CPA license, an MBA, or experience with Workday Financial is highly desirable.
