Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing comprehensive accounting functions, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the completion of month-end closing activities. This role also includes managing sales tax compliance across various states, handling payroll accounting, and offering financial insights to assist management in decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Execute month-end closing procedures accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax regulations.
- Manage payroll accounting processes effectively.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis to support leadership objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting.
- Experience with accounting software such as Avalara and NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
