Job Summary
The QC Analytical Chemist for Semiconductor Materials is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the testing and analysis of semiconductor materials. This role involves utilizing advanced analytical techniques and methodologies to assess materials’ compliance with established specifications and protocols, thereby supporting the overall production quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory analyses on semiconductor materials to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and mass spectrometry for comprehensive material evaluation.
- Document test results and prepare detailed reports for internal reviews and quality audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot quality issues and enhance testing procedures.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all analytical instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Implement new testing protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the quality control department.
Qualifications
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in analytical chemistry, preferably within the semiconductor or electronic materials industry.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and laboratory best practices.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining analytical instruments.
