Job Summary
The Remote AWS Data Engineer (Associate) is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of data solutions within the AWS ecosystem. This role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights, enabling data-driven decision-making within the organization. The position requires a firm understanding of data processing, cloud technologies, and data modeling principles. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support data initiatives and enhance data availability.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into AWS.
- Implement data storage solutions utilizing AWS services such as Amazon S3, Redshift, and RDS.
- Optimize and maintain existing data workflows to ensure efficient data processing.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues while ensuring data security and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies, particularly in data services offerings.
