Job Summary
The Senior RF Systems Engineer is responsible for leading the design and development of advanced RF systems. This role involves collaborating closely with various engineering teams to ensure that the RF components meet the required specifications and perform optimally in their intended applications. The engineer will apply their expertise to tackle complex RF challenges and contribute to groundbreaking projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize RF systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineers.
- Conduct testing and validation of RF systems to ensure performance meets standards.
- Analyze RF system specifications and requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
- Identify and troubleshoot RF-related issues in existing systems.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports on projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in RF engineering, particularly in design and system integration.
- Proficient in RF simulation and analysis tools, such as ADS or similar.
- Strong understanding of RF components, including amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and testing standards for RF systems.
