Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Circulator in the Cardiac Operating Room (OR) team at our facility in Norfolk, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to work on essential cardiac procedures and is located at the Eastern Virginia Medical Campus, where collaboration with Cardiovascular Technologists and Physician Assistants is key. Eligible candidates may receive relocation assistance as part of their onboarding process, with bonuses up to $15,000 available.
Responsibilities
- Function as the Circulator for cardiac surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
- Ensure comprehensive patient care and safety during surgical interventions.
- Coordinate with the surgical team, including Cardiovascular Technologists and Physician Assistants.
- Maintain a sterile environment and assist with the setup and breakdown of the operating room.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changing clinical conditions during surgery.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.
- Experience in an operating room environment, preferably with cardiac surgeries.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
