Job Summary
The role involves overseeing various land development initiatives, managing aspects such as budgets, timelines, client interactions, proposals, design documentation, and liaising with relevant regulatory bodies. The position encompasses technical supervision and quality assessments while also providing guidance and management to staff, assisting in construction efforts, and cultivating business prospects in the Inland Empire region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple land development projects, ensuring effective budget and schedule management.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships while managing proposals and design plans.
- Coordinate with jurisdictional agencies to ensure compliance and facilitate project approvals.
- Deliver technical oversight and conduct quality reviews on projects.
- Mentor and supervise team members, promoting professional development.
- Support construction activities and aid in developing new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- California Professional Engineer license is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience focused on land development.
- At least five years of experience in project management and supervisory roles.
- Proven track record in land development design, with familiarity in obtaining approvals from Inland Empire agencies.
- Demonstrated abilities in team leadership and client or business development.
