The Medical Laboratory Technician/Scientist – Chemistry Lead position based in Sebeka, Minnesota is an onsite role focused on leading and managing laboratory operations within the chemistry department. The primary responsibilities involve performing tests, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with certification and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results accurately.
- Oversee laboratory procedures and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor laboratory staff in best practices and operational protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate laboratory data.
Qualifications
- Education: Completed an Associate degree from a NCCLS or ABHES-accredited MLT program, or a Bachelor’s degree from a NCCLS or ABHES-accredited MLS program.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must hold current certification from ASCP.
- Capability to perform duties requiring near acuity vision.
