We are looking for an experienced RN- Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room (OR) to join our team in Arcata, California. This onsite position involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless operations and positive patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions pre, during, and post-surgery.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy as required.
- Maintain a sterile environment and uphold safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Previous experience in an Operating Room setting preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
