Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Operating Room (OR) for General Surgery is based in Goshen, Connecticut. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to inform care planning.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in OR nursing is essential.
- Experience with the nursing process is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
