Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician for the 2nd Shift at Alene Candles LLC, located in New Albany, Ohio, is responsible for performing maintenance tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is onsite and focuses on maintaining high-quality standards for candle production.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to prevent malfunctions.
- Address and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of production lines as needed.
- Follow safety and quality procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document maintenance activities and manage maintenance records.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance role, or
- Completion of an Associate’s degree in mechanical or related field.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
