Job Summary
The Field Biologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive biological field surveys and habitat evaluations. This role is essential for supporting NEPA analysis and will involve performing presence/absence surveys for listed species and assisting in the ESA Section 7 Biological Assessment to provide recommendations on effect determinations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biological field surveys to assess species presence or absence.
- Perform habitat assessments to support environmental analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of Biological Assessments in accordance with ESA requirements.
- Collaborate with environmental teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience in performing field surveys and habitat assessments.
- Knowledge of NEPA and ESA guidelines and procedures.
- Strong analytical and observational skills.
- Ability to work onsite and in various environments.
