Job Summary
Intermountain Health is in search of a proficient Cardiovascular OR Surgical Technologist to join our dedicated CVOR team in Golden, Colorado. This position entails a range of critical functions aimed at ensuring efficient surgical procedures and the utmost patient safety within the cardiovascular operating room.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and uphold a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Select and manage surgical instruments and supplies effectively.
- Conduct accurate counts of surgical items to maintain safety protocols.
- Assist in the positioning and monitoring of patients during surgeries.
- Deliver top-notch, mission-centric care to patients throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a surgical technology role, specifically in a cardiovascular setting is preferred.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
